When It comes to making burgers for catering events most of my clients want either sliders or quarter pounders but today really made me open my eyes wide me when one of my clients asked for some stuffed burger for her grandsons birthday party and it really made me and my staff happy because it something that we don’t knew very often.
So what I am going to do is share the recipe with you on how to make these great tasting barbecue stuffed cheese burgers
Barbecue Stuffed Burgers
Ingredients
1/2 cup of crackers
1/3 cup of barbecue sauce
2 tablespoons of sliced green onion
1/4 teaspoon of pepper
1 pound of lean ground beef
4 slices of pepper jack cut into quarters
Methods
In large bowl stir together crackers, barbecue sauce, onion and pepper. Add ground beef. Mix well. On wax paper shape into 8 thin patties about 3 1/2-inches in diameter. Top four patties with pepper jack slices. Place remaining patties on top of the pepper jack cheese. Seal edges, completely enclosing the cheese. Now grab your charcoal grill get it good and hot and grill the burgers directly over medium heat for 10 to 13 minutes or until the juices from the burger run clear and the thermometer has a temperature between 155 and 160 remove from the grill grab you favorite bun and condiments dress the burger if you desire then serve and enjoy.
