Barbecue Turkey Meatballs

I was listening to a group of people talking at a restaurant about eating healty foods but all I kept hearing was there are only a few choices to choose from like chicken, fish, or tuna, and when I asy tuna theat's salmon included......But one person did say that a lean pork chop would be nice but of corse they shot that down.

So as I was there listening with a grin on my face one of the ladies say to me is it that funny.........I then smiled and said but there are others meats that are healthy and good for you, So she asked what and I said turkey and all of a sudden they all started hollering a me who wants to cook a turkey....Then I say how about ground turkey even meat ball cooked in a crock pots for a few hours in a nice sacuce , Then every thing really got quite and the lady said to me go on and so with that I told them to get out some paper and lets put togehter a quick recipe and this is what it ended up to be ground turkey meatballs in a cranberry bbq sauce.

Add meatballs to the heated sauce in slow cooker; stir gently to coat Reduce heat to LOW. Cover; cook 3 hours.

4. To take it up a notch you can add some white rice to this to complete it as a meal just follow the instructions on the rice package to make some perfect or you can just put it on a nice hard roll with some coleslaw on the bottom of that roll and the mealballs on top to make it a tasty sandwich.............Happy Eating.
